Thank you everyone for the replies.... I guess I have the best already. The 9' highfield stowes relatively easy on the foredeck for passages and on the davits when staitionary.

Interesting, you think a v-bottom RIB will plane easier than a flatbottom inflatable? I really thought it would be the other way around..... hmm might just keep the Highfield then... Thanks

We have a 9' Highfiled inflatable, we had a 9.9 hp on it but finaly gave up and traded it in for a 6 hp.(9.9 was way to heave to move around) I am good with this, but would a flatbottom/rollup...

I have a Autohelm 7000, that works great. Yes there is a emergency tiller that attaches dirctly to the rudder stock in the aft cabin. It is short and you would have to stand in the aft cabin looking...

Get a ladder or get high up on the back stay, lash a 1” as ring there with waxed thread. Thread a 1/8 line thru and down to the lower lashed rung and voila you have a halyard for your ensign. Works...

My head raw water inlet has a antisiphon valve that constantly causes the head to loose its prime. If I put it high so seawater dont flood the head it will not prime. And if I lower it head fills up...

Hellosailor, I am not sure you are counting all the time from Northern Europe to the US. 3 month is probably realistic, Atlantic crossing insurance, Mooring while in port, provisioning, not to speak...
