Yes we are at the end of the 11 year sun cycle and some believe cycle 25 has already started. However the best communications is not expected until ~2024.

I would recommend you check with your battery manufacture to see if you can do an equalizing charge. Not all but many AGMs allow and all of them have build up over time.
