The hose has a minimum bend radius based on the ID, once you exceed the bend radius the hose life will shorten the more it's exceeded. Go with something prefab as mentioned

Most lowes and Home Depots or Mobil home supply will have tubing on rolls splices and end connections
A lot of time they have a crimped band you should be able to locate...
