Well it just started working again today???? I guess I’ll have a spare battery when it arrives. Who knew doing nothing could fix it and nothing did.

This seems like a very high failure rate for something that most boaters depend on for docking safely. I wonder if there’s a boater advocacy group that represents issues like this to OEM.

Should read ...AIS. I input the MMSI to the Raymarine VHF no problem. But the AIS700 manual says to get it programmed in by a dealer. Is this really necessary? If so, what a pain.
