hydroponics/aquaponics
I wonder if there is anybody growing plants in their floating home?
I believe it is possible and it is important to be independant... Aeroponics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia or better if fogponincs like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjWLyA-w4Bo There are also researches about just using sea/ocean water to grow anything (using seawater as nutrition)... Tell me your thoughts pls. And like pets, if you have a garden in your ship, how it works legally moving around world? Regards, sosriqwe. |
Re: hydroponics/aquaponics
Australia, NZ, New Cal do not let you bring any live plants.
We grow plants onboard but not under way (except for sprouts). b. |

Re: hydroponics/aquaponics
Even it is possible to grow your own tomatoes aboard, it is not allowed to go to some places on this planet with them; right? You have to buy them... :)
