Would like to meet some liveaboards in Nuevo Vallarta Marina
Hello all! I am brand new to the forum! My family and I are in the beginning stages of contemplating the liveaboard lifestyle...i.e. are we cut out for it? We would love the opportunity to meet some REAL people that are doing it. In all honesty, we have never even stepped aboard a sailboat larger than 20 feet...I own and actively sail a Holder 17 Weekender on a lake in AZ. We will be staying in Paradise Village in the Nuevo Vallarta area during the first week of February 2013 (2nd-9th). Please give a shout if you would be intersted in meeting up over a few Pacifico's! Thanks, Matt

I know there are several forumites on the West Coast of Mexico. If you were coming to Florida, I'd be happy to show you around and discuss sailing and cruising. Hopefully you are delving into the hundreds of discussion topics on this forum. This is a very important source of information for issues ranging from mechanical, navigation and lifestyle.
How many are in your family, and what age range?
Where would you be based? California seems to be the most challenging place for living aboard, due to waiting lists for slips. The East Coast and the Houston area have many opportunities for living aboard.
Lot's to learn! But the learning process is really what most of us find so rewarding about boats and cruising.
