Trinidad and Tobago Onwards
5 Attachment(s)
This post aims to inform about the sailing plans for two Danish boats: S/Y Freedom Forever and S/Y Ahead
We also want to interest you in sailing with us.

We are sailing under the rules of the danish org FTLF - basically it means shared costs including 35 US$ a day to the upkeep of the boats

Freedom Forever is a 64 feet Bruce Roberts sloop with a lot of facilities like 220V overall (sorry no 110V), a very powerfull watermaker that enables warm showers like at home, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher etc. She has 4 full scuba sets aboard and the captain (Peter) is an experienced professional diver.

She will be in Port of Spain, Trinidad during the carnival at the end of February. After that time we seek crew for a trip destination Cuba, via Columbia, Panama, Mexico etc.

Ahead is a 42 feet Bavaria Cruiser, also equipped with most modern amenities and is sailed by captains with a passion for expeditions.

She will also be at Port of Spain during the carnival, then she will sail south for Brazil and the Amazone river. We expect to sail one week into the river, other highlights are Suriname, French Guyana and Belem right at the mouth delta of the Amazone river.
Ahead has a web page: S/Y Ahead - amongst other things you can see a little reality HD video series about life aboard made by a former crew member.

Enquiries should be sent to

More info about special tours for diving, kiting etc may be found on Facebook at Boathopping: | Facebook
and at Sejlture

Happy sailing!

All the best,
Skippers Peter & Allan
