Advice for One Month in the Caribbean

I'm planning on a one month trip out of South Florida on a Trailer Tri at the end of April. My first choice is Cuba, but due to the politics:banghead: I'm looking for advice on "the next best" option.

So, what would YOU do if you had a month, at that time of year, on a fast boat?

Thanks in advance for your advice...

I'd go straight to Staniel Cay.

Pick a spot in the Bahamas. Eleuthra for nice regular towns. The entire Exumas for clearest water. Staniel is nice, (but not anchoring for a gale between the Majors, in a crowd.) Georgetown, for adult "camp", The Jamentos for remote diving sites, ETC. Get a guide book and decide what you like.

Cuba, besides the US politics, comes with a number of down sides as a hassle free cruising destination. At least for now. I hope that will change. M.
