In my view, respectful communication about communication is a hallmark of a healthy community.


This question, along with that of quality of photos submitted by members, comes up regularly in magazines of various Alpine Clubs. I prefer the conservative side, but many people feel it cramps their style.

By the standards proposed by Gord, it doesn't matter what it means to you, the author, only matters what it means to the most easily offended person that looks at it.

I vote against this type of censorship.

We're here at the permission of our censors for better or worse.
What's acceptable is only in THEIR opinion.
