Where to leave a boat for a week in Croatia?
We are looking to leave the boat in Croatia for a week or two for a land based excursion.
Will be in Split next week and then working north for a couple weeks after that. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good place to leave a 13 meter cat for 7 to 14 days? As always, budget is a factor. Ideally we would find somewhere that had limited possibility of theft, good mooring ball / dock, and was less than an ACI Marina. Having someone we could pay to look after it would be a plus. It doesn't need to be pretty, have nice showers, or any other amenities. Just a place we can come back to with everything on the boat and the boat still being there. Thanks! Has anyone left their boat on a ball? |

Contact Marina Punat.
Independent marina, not necessarily cheap but we met the Captain recently when weighing up annual berths for our prospective boat. He's very pragmatic and flexible, the marina is top notch and secure and has daily monitoring, weekly reports, webcams etc. Also try Mitan Marina in Novi Vinodolski, new marina that's not yet full. |

Thanks for all the replies.... I just found some water in a saildrive so I'm starting a new thread to help find the best place to haul a cat around Split.
