Your 1st time sailing the Caribbean - When and where did you go?

When was the 1st time you sailed through the Caribbean? Where did you go?

I'm interested in hearing some stories to shake the winter blues... please share.

Tortola-BVIí s. I have been many times from November to May. Very sheltered, many mooring fields. Most popular charter destination in the world and the price is affordable. I fly to St Thomas, cab to ferry and ferry to Roadtown. Cheaper and fewer cancelled delayed flights. Have charter company do provisioning. Less wind in spring but little fetch so no big waves swells within the shelter of the island chain. Snorkeling decent.
