My Story - An Engine Removal

Hi

I documented the steps we took to remove a Pisces QD-27 (Isuzu 2AB! marinised, 450 lb) diesel engine from my Trisbal 36. Tools:
- two heads (mine and my neighbour's)
- chain hoist
- lever hoist
- wrecking bar
- 2 feet of chain
- lifting straps
- shackles
- and a camera to record the action

The though to documenting was to help others who may be faced with the same job.

Nicely done, fellow bluenoser. That's the spirit and ingenuity maritimers are known for.

Paul. Presently in pei.
