Nassau Harbour Club. Peter, the manager is a great guy. We always stay there to check in.

Nassau Yacht Haven is another good choice.

I have only stayed at Yacht Haven, and had good luck there. If you are only checking in. I have actually anchored out, and taken the dinghy to the custom's wall, and climbed it. They were a bit surprised, but did my paperwork.

Nassau harbour is not the best place to leave your boat at anchor unattended. Theft is increasing again. We do anchor there if we're waiting for weather to head further south (two days in a marina for clearing and provisioning is plenty) but we don't leave the boat and haul our dinghy up.

ATP marina--behind yacht haven--is great mostly because the owners 150 footer breaks any wake from the folks who fly thru the harbor. plus it's cheaper and the mgr is a nice guy...

I suppose I can resuscitate this thread for an add on question. Does anyone know anything about rates at the marinas in Nassau? I've been looking online and can find that the Paradise Harbour Yacht Club is $3.50 per foot and that sounds a little steep. It looks like Captain Nemo's is $0.80 per foot but I can't find out much about it. And, the East Bay Yacht Basin seems to cost $0.60 per foot. Is there any way to get prices short of calling each marina and asking?

Thanks for any help
Bill

East Bay is out of business as far as I know.Harbour Club and Yacht Haven are about $1.50 per ft. and about $8 per day for water. Power is metered. I highly recommend Harbour Club. They're always there to help you coming in and leaving. Yacht haven is a bit big and disorganized. I have stayed there when unable to get a reservation at Harbour Club and their service is not as good. Any marina on the Paradise Island side will cost you an arm and a leg.

Harbour Club is now $1.75/ft, $6-$10/ft for water per day (mandatory) and $0.60/kW for electric. I've seen some rumors of this "Captain Nemo's" but can't find any info either.
