compac 16 water in keel
I'm looking at a little Compac 16 to keep at my cabin in Maine to play with on the coast. There is water in the keel, fiberglass on cabin sole is delaminated and wet. It's a tiny boat, lead ballast. Does it make any difference if there is water inside the keel, or is this a big issue? Thanks.

Re: compac 16 water in keel
Needs to be cured or when it freezes/thaws/freezes it will expand the cracks and eventually destroy the boat.
if it hasn't damaged the hull beyond reasonable repair already.... |

Thanks TurninTurtle. I was afraid that might be the case. Looks like a good deal with a serious hitch.
