I think this is 70's vintage. double acting manual windlass. would like to find owners manual and chain/rope gypsy. any thoughts

Well you are correct. I don't know much about a 70's style manual windlass. Clearly you don't as well or you wouldn't have posted this thread. Most of the newer windlass anchors are both power and manual driven (in case of power failure). Some of the first power driven windlass anchors did not have the manual ability (thus the invention of both). Yes I own a marine business. 99% of my business is electronics sales. I am no expert on windless anchors but I was just trying to help. Once again I am sorry I wasted so much of your time. I hope you don't read this post so I don't waste more.
