Insurance

I'm trying to complete my purchase of a 50' ketch in the USVI. I've had no problem arranging insurance to cover it when its stateside, but boat us seems reluctant to cover it for the delivery trip even though the delivery captain is extremely qualified and there's probably much less risk on the trip then it will have and it's home cruising ground of the Chesapeake Bay does anybody have suggestions for how to get insurance coverage just for the delivery trip
