using C-Maps on a mac PC

Hi there, I have a friend who asked for help about using his mac pc with C-Maps, I downloaded the charts CM93 folder but the C-Maps exc was not going to work also the openCPn wont work. I looked on the internett for a mac program, but couldn't find one. I did note that long ago Max Sea was working on the mac pc but not around any more.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I'm running openCPN v4.0 on a macbook pro(Yosemite) and using cm93 charts with no problems. Sorry but I don't have the savvy to sort yours out but it should work.

Ok, followed the manual instructions, and at last it all works.
