Regarding your question on 12Knots, I was the original poster. I did rent for 30 days settling on LateSail and rented a 44' Lagoon in St. Lucia. I went south to St. Vincent and then more of the islands to the south and then went up to Guadeloupe and all the islands on the way.

12Knots helped me in the beginning but when we got close to reserving I got cold feet. I couldnt find anyone who had used him. I had some little hints of him being from russia as some of the links and coding is in russian. Nothing wrong with the Russians but then I did a search for his company and located his office, which is some little bitty house somewhere. Then he told me that he was an official sponsored broker for the big names. So I called Barefoot in St. Lucia and the person told me that there are no official brokers for them or any other charter company. So in the end, it was unfortunate for him but I decided to go with a company that has a reputation for my more than $20k.
