Hi Tyler, I do not know if you got this message. I've ran into your post (seeking free anchorages around Vancouver BC). Could you tell me your impressions and evidences? Had you find good places in that area? What are yours experiences (cops, safety, thieves, citizens, sustainability, etc...)? Thanks in advance, and happy new year!

Don't let a couple of jerks chase you off, such is the nature of most boat forums. Hope you find what you're looking for. There is a government dock in West Vancouver, just down from Caulfield village, that I have used on occasion. Unfortunately, the local residents are quick to whine to the authorities, so you'd have to alternate dock tie-ups & being on the hook. As well, it is probably too isolated for your needs, though the bus runs along Marine Drive, about 3 to 4 blocks distance from the bay. Best of luck!
