Tonga Moon

Hi there, just thought I'd drop you a line to see how you like your leopard as my wife and I are considering buying either a 2003 42ft owners version or a 2004 47ft 4 berth in the very near future. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. We live on Lake Macquarie NSW and plan to get use to sailing the boat firstly on the lake then doing short day trips up to Newcastle (20klms) to get our sea legs then doing longer day trips to Port Stephens to the north and Port Jackson to the south. Once we are doing these regularly we believe that we will be ready to head much further north coastal hopping. We have had a hard time finding the right boat for us as my wife wants the galley up I want a shaft drive although there are many galley up boats available there are not to many with shaft drives, what did you consider when making up your mind when buying your boat? I have lots of questions no room left. Kind regards Peter.
