Tasman sailor, I'm considering the purchase of a Tasman 48 - I see from your profile that you have one. I realise they are all different and semi custom, I'm just fishing around for opinions and I was wondering if you would have a opinion on the yacht? would you purchase again? what are the sailing qualities like, and or any issues you have had with the vessel in your ownership?

do you cruise and have a fractional rig and have you found this good/ bad? Also It looks like it is a spade rudder - i can't seem to get any information if the rudder design is spade or skeg mounted - or different on each one.
