stephaneg, would like to know more about your dream of sailing around the world. what is you motivation? who will be joining you?
regardiing boats, there are so many capable boats - so rather than focusing too hard on cold molded, just get to know the capable boats, and if one happens to be cold molded, you won't be afraid to pursue it. the most important aspect of sailing around the world is choosing the proper season and route. of course your boat must be strong and in good shape. sounds like a grand adventure. i certainly have loved my cruisng experiences - in rough weather and calm. my boat is on the hard for now. need to sell it - (i have two boats!!! :0!)
