    I honestly don't know the wall thickness on our two inch aluminum pole tubing. We went to a building/industrial supply facility in Suva, Fiji and took the 18 foot poles that they had. We used the full 18 feet for each pole and put the end fittings in both ends of the pole. Those poles survived through the rest of our circumnavigation and they still work today.
