Even though I have sailed many oceans I'm afraid I never caught a single fish. I once even went big game fishing but didn't catch anything either, so thank goodness for modern freezers on sailboats!
I also have a fear of flying, but that can usually be alleviated with a double Scotch - or two.
So it doesn't sound like we have much in common except sailing. Do you have a boat?
A year ago I was in the process of buying a 50 foot ketch to live on, but the economic downturn put the kibosh on that! I have only just started seriously looking again, but now I've got another problem - my wife has other plans!
I'm an Englishman and a very experienced yachtsman - been a professional skipper on some big boats, and I now get some satisfaction taking part in this forum, hoping to help anyone else.
If you want to correspond it would perhaps be easier to do it through regular e-mail, but if you don't want to do that I understand.
    Sincerely: Roger
