My wife and I are in contract to purchase a Leopard 40 cat from the Moorings in Marsh Harbor. After reading your post we have decided to hire Jonathan Sands to do the survey.

We will be finalizing the sale of the boat in Ft Lauderdale. Once your sale was finalized did you have a time limit to remove the boat from the Bahamas?

Was there a fee?

Our boat does not have a dinghy. Did your boat have a dinghy? If not how did you get a dinghy? We thought of buying one in the Bahamas dinghy and motor or shipping from the US but there seems to be a large duty cost to do so?
