I know im buying a second hand boat and she's comes as you see her with no guarantee of anything, but this is a big bag of money for me and the family.
so even though lm keen I'm also happy to walk away. just trying to get some information, l hope you can help, shes a lovely looking boat, reminds me of a slightly bigger version the S &S 34 .
P.S. How does she handle with the tiller. and self steering wind vane set up. did the boat ever have osmosis. is the motor ok. of course all these questions only relate to time you had the boat.
If l do proceed with the sale, l plan to fly to Fiji to inspect the boat and organize a boat surveyor to lift the boat and carry out a full inspection anyway.
but l will hold until l hear from you.

Hi Rod and Patti,
my name is Clem Finchett, from Australia. l am currently negotiating to purchase your previous yacht "joint adventure" from Craig cuff. she is now moored in Fiji.
l had planned to fly to Fiji to inspect the boat, but after further research into the history of joint adventure I'm having second thoughts at this stage.
l found your blog and a picture on what occurred when the tsunami knock the boat of its stand in Pago Pago September 2009. looks ugly, but after reading about the incident it sounds
as if the boat didn’t fair to bad. Can you spread more light on the matter. can you please answer any of the following questions regarding the boat ending up on its side. did joint adventure suffer structural damage after the incident. did the boat get water inside? was the rigging ok ? was there any other
damage to the boat. what sort repairs were needed. was the keel repaired? was this the reason for selling the boat?
