    For 30 years my wife and navigator, Jan, and I have sailed 15,000 miles along the West Coast with 11 trips to British Columbia and round trip to Mexico and back aboard “Kinship,” a Norseman 447 and “Venture,” a Columbia 41. Our Nonsuch 33, “Shamrock,” is our last boat. We have spent 2017 refitting her to seaworthiness and plan on again cruising north.
