Hi guys . Thanks for the offer to give some first hand info on the local marinas . We are trying to get all the info we can on costs to live on a boat like slip fees , insurance , parking etc . I'm not sure my wife has even been on a sail boat before but she seems interested in the idea of living on a boat . I know we have a lot to learn . Time to get started . Oh ya , congrats on the little one . We have 3 and haven't lost one yet . The youngest is off to college in the fall . It's going to be very quiet around here .

Hay! Once ago about 30 years ago I steered a yacht called La Goleta an old fastnet racer 58 feet sitting just like You do.We sailed from Portugal to poerto ricko harbour on islas canaraias
I remembered it was easier to stay infront an teerein backwards.

Now i live in Sweden but I intend to sail to greece in a year or two.
