Sorry about the delayed response. I did get your message. Thank you very much for your helpful info and advicei . We have decide to stay in Greece. As of October 1st the transit log for a non EU boat is 18 months now so problems solved. I will be in the eastern Aegean next summer and will seriously consider Turkey then.
Interesting how I had the perception that Turkey was a bargain compared to Greece, I guess that was based on old news? from the info I gathered, there are yards and marinas in Greece that are much more affordable...

Hello,

Yes I am seriously looking to haul out and store the boat on the hard from mid december to end of March.

The boat is 49 feet and is 14'8" beam and 6 foot draft.
