- I let my C-29 license lapse aprox.09 Meanwhile back at the dock, I rescued a 44' mid-cockpit sailboat that had been on the rocky beach for a week. The boat turned out to be too damaged to repair. I incurred great expense moving, storing, dismantling and demolishing this 14 ton wreck. I hope to recover some of the expenses by selling the parts I was able to salvage from this ill fated vessel. The parts removed include 52 ft. mast with 15 ft. boom and 2 roller furlers for main sail and jib. Several Barrient 28 winches (no wenches), a Lofrans tigress windlass, a 17 inch Autostream self-feathering prop, many bronze through-hull fittings, 2 porceline potties, 2 turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Also a lot of mahogany trim wood pieces. I placed ads in Sailnet Classified in 2013 to sell some of the parts with little luck. I didn't use email, only phone number. I have since acquired an email address and wish to try again to sell these parts. I have dusted them off and shined them up, serviced them as needed. And they are ready to go. The boat was not used much, parts have age but little wear, unlike myself. We are trying to post photos to go with ads, but having little luck with this. Photobucket, private album, and gallery didn't work for me. Next we will try thumbnail attachment. I avoided computer since 2013. I'm diving in again and so far it is rough sailing. Hammers, wrenches, pliers etc. I can handle. This computer thing is a great mystery to me. I can use a pencil but the erasers are all worn off!
