- I'm not as good as I once was...But I'm as good once as I ever was...Been sailing for over 30 years and still haven't made it to the ocean. Only my four years in the US Navy was time spent on the ocean...but that's not sailing. Had a 100 ton Masters license for steam and sail...and Merchant Mariner's Documentation in my life, both expired now. But still sailing on 150 mile long Lake Sakakawea.
