I saw your message soliciting crew (Marmaris, Turkey to Corpus Christi, Texas) and the followup that the vessel was not seaworthy. I would like to get to know some delivery skippers in advance of a particular voyage.

A brief synopsis: I've been sailing since I was 6 years old; sailboats from 8' to 51', powerboats from 10' to 49'. Used to have a 6 passenger license, used to be a US Power Squadron instructor for Cruise Planning, Celestial Navigation, Seamanship. For 7 years, I ran summer sailboat charters from South Florida to the Bahamas for college students; lots of new faces each year and lots of repeats, so I think I am an acceptable shipmate. I haven't been sailing for the last several years and want to get my sea legs back. No criminal background, no wants, no warrants.
