- started sailing when I was 10 years old, progressed to racing dinghies (various) till I was in my 40's then moved onto cruisers. Havn't done any major cruising but long term intend to do a circumnavigation when I finish this current project and have done a few shakedown cruises. (Round Britain and Ireland, ARCs and possibly AZAB.) May consider WRC as an intro to real long distance voyaging. Presently keeping my sailing skills up with a small 22 foot gaff cutter out of Chichester harbour. Hope to have the Tradewind finished in 2012 but have been at it since 2005 though only part time till last year when I retired
