    Hey Will,

I've been working on setting up autopilot on my boat. So far I have a microcontroller running some software I wrote that can:
    - Turn an engage port/starboard engage/disengage clutch
    - Read from an NMEA GPS source, still working on a compass
    - Can send/receive over a bluetooth serial device which I can send/receive from my android

I figured I would let my microcontroller handle keeping a straight heading and figuring out which way to turn for the next waypoint.

I'm getting the MX Mariner build environment set up now (cursing OSMDROID and the maven) but I want to be able to:
    - Send the list of waypoints over my bluetooth channel
    - Use NMEA sent over bluetooth serial instead of the current sensors

I'm better in C/Python than in Java so I'm sure it will be pretty ugly. Let me know you're interested in the progress. At the very least you may want to incorporate the code that accepts NMEA data over bluetooth vice android sensors.

Hi Will, we've just got a 10" tablet and hoping to give MX Mariner a try. GooglePlay says that it's incompatible w/ this device, but I've had some luck installing other " incompatible " apps straight from apk file. Could you possibly send me a beta apk for MX so I could test it out? Great looking app, thanks for the creation. --caliph

Thanks for your comments on .gemf file format and Mobak. However, perhaps Im slow but I do not see a .gemf option, rather a .gmf option in Mobak. Any clues as to where that option exists. Best and kind regards, really nice program.

    Hi Will

I am very sorry to disturb you by a personal ask for help .
I read in an old post from you that you were using
I tried to use it too . But I was unable to succeed .
Always I got the same message .
Here are my command line and the result (I am on windows vista )
    C:\Users\Jean Pierre\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects> -C src/bitmaps/cross.cpp -H src/bitmaps/cross.hpp -M CROSS_HPP src/bitmaps/cross.png
You need to specify -C, -H options.
I didn't find any information on the net .
It is why I allowed myself to ask you some advices .

    many thanks
    Jean Pierre
