In 1980, my husband and I did, with our daughter, what you’re planning on doing with your two. We spent 5 years preparing, home schooled our daughter (not as difficult as it sounds) and traveled for 6 years aboard a 31 foot catamaran. Currently, we live aboard a 50’ catamaran in Vero Beach, FL and are planning on selling her.
