    Glad to hear you are making progress. I think you mean the transmission not the sail drive. A sail drive is where the shaft goes forward then thru the "sail drive" and back to the prop. The throttle button being frozen would cause the transmission not to engage. If it is like mine, out is neutral and in is engaged. Good luck and if I can help in any way let me know.
