- Grew up on the the Chesapeake, more so the Potomac and Patuxent rivers. Been around boats my whole life, mostly crabbing and power boating. Lately just looking to slow the pace and become a part of the water, instead of just bumbling around on top of it. I've always seen sailing as somewhat of a gauge to a persons competence, improvisation, and self efficiency and I believe that pursuing the sailing lifestyle will help make these attributes stronger in me.
