Just posted to your question on line. I'm heading back to the West Indies in a few weeks for a couple of months. I make this trip at least twice a year and love the area and ease of sailing and ease of getting to know local people. I often single hand for weeks at a time and generally have friends come down to sail with me for a week to a month at a time.

If you would like more info on the US and British Virgin Islands, let me know. If the weather in April/ May/ June allows, I'll probably head up to the Spanish Virgin Islands and in summer of 2010 will probably head down the chain to the Leaward Islands and station my boat in that area for a year or two then down to the Windwards for the same period maybe longer if I cruise the South American areas.

In the long term, I'll probably head back up the chain to the BVI unless I've found a new favorite place.
