    Hello Shipmate Jim,
Beautiful Cutter. What a blessing to see someone here OLDER than ME. I was hatched in Jackson, Tennessee, on February 24, 1944.I hope to be purchasing a large Cutter Rigged Sloop (34m) in the next very few months. Then I can do what my Email Address so implies <Sailing4Jesus@gmail.com>. I served a thirty-year Career in The United States Navy, retiring 30 September 1987. We live in Rota 11520 Cadiz, Spain, near my Wife's Birth Place SEVILLA. Drop us a line anytime.

Hi Jim! Are you currently in Pittwater? I heard of an ally Sayer in Pittwater just last week? No other details that that, but I was hoping to take a look!
And only a few days ago Sally told me there was another sayer at Newport? I'm assuming that may be you? Small world it is.
When did you last see Waywood? Was that w the previous owner, Kieth?
I had Waywood slipped at Mckenzie marine only a few months ago.. did some major changes, maintenance, updates etc. Very pleased w her atm.
Anywho, great to finally meet another Sayerite!

Hello Jim. Do you have any thoughts on using a swivel on the Manson supreme? I heard that you had a theory on swivels. Cheers Phil

    Hello Jim,

I am pretty sure I saw you heading up river to load some coal, or something else up the Hunter River on Saturday. I was skiff sailing. I am still keen on going to Tasmania in late November early December. I was hoping to get more input from you if I may.

    - Do you carry many paper charts? I have almost none of south of Sydney. I always go north. I think I will need about 8 or so.
    - Do you use Open CPN? I can buy some electronic or scanned charts. Do you prefer one or the other?
If you are around for a while and need a hand to get something. Give me a call and I can run you around in the car after work. I would offer you dinner when you get to the lake but it is still pretty shallow here.

    cheers

    Phil Thompson

Sorry Jim, I ran out of space regarding my raw water to exhaust manifold question.

Should the petcock on top of the anti-siphon u shaped pipe be normally open or normally closed? Thanks, Jeff
