    Howdy Jim and Ann
I think our paths crossed down around Sydney, sorry to have missed sharing an anchorage with you. But we're north at Camden Haven and heading further up in a few days time. Look, we'll be wintering at our shack on the Richmond, so if you get up that way, send us a message capjack2j at gmail dot com

re: scuttling an abandoned vessel. Scuttling sounds like a good idea. I had never thought about it. It would be a shame for another vessel to hit it and suffer damage or worse.

Jim, Logic and reason are not on her hit parade. Oh well, good luck to her anyway.

    Hi Jim, Anne,

Well I got the radar going on land (on top of the car!!) Poor echoes but I think I need to adjust the tuning presets as the best returns were obtained with the tuning knob hard over.

    Thanks again

Enjoy WB festival. I'm sad I wont get to it but the consolation is I might have a crew on trimaran sailing East Indonesia (Moluccas, Irian Jaya) in July. Actually the owners are in Hobart presently -camping on their bush block on side of Mt Wellington - sailblogs.com -"Shanghaied" a good read

Hi Jim hope all is well and you are enjoying another great sailing season in Ozzie. I came across a post here on the forum that detailed how to repiar the problem with our Navman auto pilot head. This was in a very good detailed video. I had just purchaced a new one from the UK when this came up. I remember you had fixed yours a couple of years ago and thought you might like to have a look.If you cant find it I have a copy so can send it if you would like.
I am on my way back to Cairns after 3months in the Whitsundays.
