- Short story about my sailing background. Back in Finland I started on a brig as a part of an about 10 member crew as I've always loved the ocean. That's when the sailing bug bit me and I've never looked back. After traveling through Central-America in 2013-14, I decided to find a boat to sail on, as Panama seemed to be a fairly easy spot to find boats. I ended up sailing on a Jeanneu Sun Odyssey 45,2 from Panama to Cook Islands (via Galapagos, Nuku Hiva, Tahiti & Bora Bora) in three months with three other awesome crew members. I had the best time of my life, and am now looking to gain more sailing experience with my partner & see where the winds take us!
