I am interested in your opinion regarding fully battened vs partial battened sails. I am currently considering a couple of Nonsuches for sailing in the Great Lakes. One of the boats has partial battens, the other is fully battened. All otehre things beign equal between these 2 boats, which would be a better sail for a newbie sailor on a cat-rigged Nonsuch? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Cruising Spinnaker: You don't have any leads on a kite that would work on a Leopard 40 do you?
