    Biography
    New to sailing, I have been happily married for 20 years. My oldest is getting ready for college this fall; my youngest is still in middle school. I currently work in Nigeria, Africa, I build refineries; I work a 28 day schedule, which means I am in Nigeria for 28 days; then I fly home to my family in Texas, and I am off 28 days with my family. I have done this schedule/route for the last 7 years. I would love to learn more about sailing and make it my new passion. I live in North East Texas, so there is not a huge sailing community. During my time off, I would love to eventually take my family on short sailing trips. My goal is to learn sailing and save over a 6 year period....buy a sailboat, and take my son on a long trip after graduation around the Florida Keys.
