Hi Eric, glad your boat is getting near.Mine is in guaymas still in the yard.Going down at beginning of Feb. to change transmission again(for the last time!) and then launch. Will sail Mex. till June then put in marina till October. The plan is to sail further south than Manzanillo, next winter. My back healed up well and am excited to get back out there.Ok good luck&smooth sailing.;Geoff/Fiona ,SV Verdia.
Boats on the hard in Guaymas, not getting back there until winter at the earliest.Sounds like you did the major redo, good work.I am upgrading transmission when I return, want to repaint hull&deck. $1500. down there for complete job,and good work too.
Pow is fun ,but sun and sand is more fun. After the cape mendocino run nothing seems rough anymore.great winds down fro SanDiego, lots of fish also, throw out a line, bring in a fish.get that boat dialed in and we will do some sailing when I get back next year, gonna move to Lund with Fiona when we get back.
Hi Eric, hows your winter?Great sail down the baja, hangin in Sea Of Cortez right now.Going to mainland for a month then back to Sea for some island cruising.Heading to Hawaii in April then home.I think Race Rocks Marine Services ,at Fishermans Cove is about the cheapest, and most convenient for you.take care &,stay in touch;Geoff
I was actully running Parking last couple of seasons(easier on the back),it operates out of snowmaking.Glad you are liking your Hughes, its same year as mine.I'm leaving in a month for Mexico. Will stop sometime by to check out your boat.I run the Trace DR1500 with about 500 ah of battery storage,3 80 watt panels and a Rutland windgen.Need the sun & or wind for the system to work though.
