    Ellie, I just saw your message now (a bit late, I'm afraid). My boat is on the hard for a refit until April, so sailing is out of the question for a while. If you're still in Brazil, I could try to hook you up with a few people to go sailing. Where are you on the coast?

    Hello from the Hanseatic port city of Gdansk, Poland.

    My name's Elizabeth aged 47, a certified Coastal Skipper with the Polish Yachting Association. PL-EN translator and interpreter, licensed city guide Gdansk, architect by training, traveller by passion. I live and work on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea. Having gained some solid practice sailing the Baltic Sea and the Med, I had a great opportunity of crossing the Atlantic with the ARC both in 2011 and in 2012, followed by extensive cruising in the Caribbean incl. Grenada, St. Vincent&Grenadines, St. Lucia, Martinique, Dominica, Guadelupe, Antiga&Barbuda, BVIs, USVIs and Puerto Rico. That was followed by two seasons of cruising & racing in the Bahamas (Staniel Key Regatta, Geaorgetown Regatta, Long Island Regatta). My favourite is the Exumas, although I loved the Abacos almost as much :) Back in Gdansk, I'm a regular member of a racing team and on our 33-footer we won Poland's Championship in class ORC back in 2015.

    This winter again I would like to join a good crew of interesting and intrepid sailors, and to continue the sea adventure and explorations. I'm available from mid-December. I'll be looking to gain more experience and mile-building, joining forces with international crews in the Caribbean or in the Bahamas. I'm open-minded, responsible and resourceful, always looking on the bright side of life.
