What motivated me to get involved was my discussion with Ander's dad. Anders is very innocent in this. He answered a crew wanted ad. He didn't have the experience to know what he was getting into. I cried during that conversation.

By the way, you ask a fair question about families. I am not related to the families, Tore is not related most you are not related. I have, however, had conversations with Helle, the Mosteids, Anne was a big help in telling me about Kati. If you don't speak English it is really hard to make your case in a foreign language, that is why Tore got involved. I made the biggest mistake, I got emotionally involved, because I can see myself doing exactly what Anders did, and I could see my dad doing exactly what Geir did. Does that make my efforts less valuable? Does it make the sailors in less need? Someone needed to take their cause, and several of, several of all of us, have done that. Kudos to Tore, and to all of the people who have contributed. One day I will meet some of you as I get my boat, a Tayana 37, repaired, and restock the cruising kitty to live the dream in person. Till then, I am a great advocate, especially for those who have lost their voice.
