    Clockwork orange I see your based Duluth Minnesota , I have L26 too and am just up hwy 53 at International Falls , I'd be happy to make your acquaintance to do some comparisons and questions about the boat.

    Thanks for all info.I was able to obtain a very liomted line drawing showing the cross section's and hull section's,from these drawings I was able to determine the COB and moved a couple of thousand pounds of lead holdin out appx 2000 lbs for trim.After moving the lead around I now have the hull on the scribe marks at the water line,I guess forward I go.Thank you for teh help

    I read your message. I picked up my samson 37 ketch for 3500$ i put 2 weeks of work into her and about 600$ and launched her. i sailed her for 2.5 years before hauling this last October for paint and improvements. They are out there but you have to be looking everywhere and even asking around. basically, I bought a 12000$ value for 3500$ and its now worth about 25,000 and its insured and Im a member at the yacht club. Not bad for being patient, careful, humble, prudent.
