By the way I gave up on getting an HF radio for the moment ( with the newborn not likely to do any big trips for a while) so I bought a Simrad RS35 VHF with DSC instead which has AIS & GPS as well. I got it 2nd hand but new in box off Gumtree for a good price.

Hi Chall, I live at Collaroy and now have my Endurance 35 moored at Clareville Beach in Pittwater. I would love to go for a sail sometime with you. As I just had a newborn baby ( 4 weeks old) I am not working at the moment.well apart from doing a little cash work as a boat guru fixing others boats and teaching them seamanship etc.

Thanks for the suggestion re Icom 710 on Gumtree. I will take a look. I must admit I did not read the USA fellow's thread properly and thought that was the selling price. Did not realise it was for sale on Ebay. By the way I looked at a marzcraft 35 myself before buying the Endurance 35. Cheers, Colin
