Error... oops

Saw a post that you made on being a fourwinds ii junkie . I have a unit that I want to bring back to life. I have always loved them.I am looking for a manual, any info on the wiring, slip rings and spacers. I was told I could forego the slip ring by tying a line to prevent a full rotation, and is a diy pvc spacer doable? Any info would be stellar. Essentially I have the generator itself and that's all. Lost on the rest. Thanks so much!
