The only "politics" affecting this are Canadian. We (as a population) are strongly in favour of keeping the borders closed for our own health and safety. Any politician who would dare request the borders be open now would have their rear ends handed to them in the next election. That is something politicians usually try to avoid.

@LittleWing77; you and every other citizen I've spoken with - me included!

My reactions:

Corporate wannabe's might want the border open, anyone who has a family, that they wish to protect from Murrican idiocy, will ensure that the border remains closed.
I have family on both sides of the border. My vote is to keep it closed.

PS: Don't care for Fluffy or his party. Too bad the Conservatives sidelined their more promising people, from running for leader.
