Biography

Married with two sons & one granddaughter. I've spent most of my career helping American companies set up and run buying offices in China. I have been sailing since boyhood in Southern Florida (sunfish, hobie 16, etc.), and I was the vice-commodore of the sailing club in University.

I also lived on a trawler with my dad when I was going to high school in Deerfield Beach FL. We took weekly dive trips to the Bahamas. As an adult I have owned and sailed a West Wight Potter 19 (one month extended voyage in the Bahamas), and a compac 23, which I've sailed to Catalina Island of several occasions. Much of my sailing (& windsurfing) has been done in Utah's lakes and the waters of Hong Kong. The Island Packet 29 is my first (and hopefully last) real sailing yacht however, and I still have a lot to learn!
